Greetings,
It’s officially FALL!!
It seems this year has moved so fast. At the same time, I feel like Fall took her sweet time to arrive.
We have a lot of cool news this month!–Awards announcements, anthology updates, and much more! Savagery on the Salty Seas, Campfire Publishing’s upcoming maritime horror anthology, is on its way into edits. We always hope this part is smooth sailing (see what I did there?). Soon, we’ll begin introducing our authors and hopefully picking their brains as we begin another segment of Voices from the Embers.
For now, sit back and enjoy all of our news and announcements from Campfire Publishing and Beyond!
As always, we appreciate you giving us five or ten minutes out of your day to stay caught up on everything Campfire.
Cheers!
Aaron
Campfire Publishing Anthologies are NOW AVAILABLE online at Politics and Prose!

We are SO Honored, Thankful, and Excited to announce that you can now purchase Campfire Publishing’s anthologies online at Politics and Prose!
Campfire Publishing is also honored to announce we’ll be on shelves at Hundred Acre Books late October! So please check them out and stay tuned for more information on all of this!
Pushing our anthologies off “only Amazon” has been a number one goal of mine this year. Honestly, after days turned into weeks turned into months, I’d just about given up. I’m really glad I didn’t!
Having our anthologies on physical bookshelves is not only important to Campfire as a brand, but also to our authors who’ve trusted us enough to share their talents with Campfire. Finally, it’s important to the horror genre as a whole. Anything we can do to keep horror alive is significant.
So, if there’s a Campfire anthology you’ve been excited to read, please check it out at either Politics and Prose (online) or Hundred Acre Books (Later this month).

When she isn’t writing, she enjoys the stars, gaming, books, gardening, Goth culture and music, and of course The Band of the Red Hand fandom for Robert Jordan’s series, “The Wheel of Time“. She also is an active gamer with TheCriticalFail on Twitch.

Aaron K. Crocker Films is PROUD and GRATEFUL to announce that our short film, “Another Letter” won a Judge’s Pick awards at the Mightier Than the Sword Awards 2026!
We look forward to the MTTS festival each year! And next year will be no different, should one of our films make it into the screenings.
“Another Letter” is the sequel to “The Letter”, and they’re both just how they sound: The wind carries mysterious letter with an ominous and deadly message to its reader.
“Another Letter” stars Mandy Rivera and features Katina Householder. Currently, we’re planning to write this into a feature film script within the next 1-2 years.

Production on “Jade”, a silent feature film starring Gabby Crocker and Linette Kasper with Original Music and Score by Mandy Rivera has officially restarted!
“Jade” follows a young girl with a tumultuous home life who often finds escape on long walks into town, by the river, and in the woods. One day, while playing in the woods, Jade encounters and Ominous Figure who follows her and literally becomes the monster in her closet.
“Jade” is a film that posits that sometimes real life is far more scary than the monster in the closet.
Stay tuned for updates, including exclusive cast and crew interviews from set and behind the scenes photos.

I’m also excited to announce that Linette Kasper has joined us this time to co-edit Savagery. You can find out more about her Supernatural Fantasy series on her website.
Our next several newsletters will feature our Savagery authors and I look forward to introducing you all to them.
